FEAR Server Monitor, first Alpha Preview

After the FEAR Combat Ultimate Fate Event, I released what in that moment was the only way to list and join FEAR Servers. Over the next months/years more functionality was added to It.
With every sucesive update, the FEAR Installer included SEC2 and fixed most of the bugs ingame, so the Launcher became obsolete.

At this moment, a tool to track servers and users is not required, because the game works as It used to be.
Still, for Server Admins and players, sometimes is needed a tool to view servers activity; Check If your team mates are already ingame, or just check If your server has some activity.

This is still in an early development stage, but I will try to get a closed beta in the next weeks. Stay Tunned!

FEAR Map making, 2016 Work In progress

As soon as I had a spare day, I’m back to work on FEAR Map Making. I have this idea since 2010, but couldn’t put It together until now. I have already the full map layout and I started adding details. I hope I can make It feel almost like a FEAR Stock Map!

Donations to =MXT= CTF Server

There have been some changes in the MXT CTF Server.

We moved to a new hosting service; more expensive, but more reliable and much less laggy.

[eAu]Nikki has been helping not only getting It online, but paying most of the cost. Still all donations you can make are more than welcome, and we will Include your name in the server welcome screen, in the donations section.

FEAR Map: MXT KillHouse

I wanted to make a trining-like map for FEAR Combat, and what could better than Call of Duty 4: Kill House?

This map was already made by [TxT]RusTus, a beautifull copy of the original, but while It was awesome in visuals, It lags like hell in low power computers, even If they set graphics to low. So I ended up doing my own version.

this works fine even in lower settings, but the huge action may be laggy for extremely low power PC’s. Anyway, i think It’s far superior in performance, but not as accurate as the first RusTus version. It supports all gamemodes, including Control and SlowMo variants. (más…)

MXT CTF Server; Wanna Control the Lag?

IMPORTANT NOTICE
We will run a Temp CTF Server for 5 days. It should run better (that’s what Gameservers.com said). If It does, we will stay there. If not, we will go back to the old IP. Meanwhile, the old Server will run in Control Gamemode.

Tonight It may restart a couple times while I complete the migration, but in a hour or so, It should be complete. Please let us know how It works

UPDATE: The server is back to normal. We will continue running in the same IP’s, since we didn’t detect any improvement in the new location. Furthermore some issues were detected with the server listing.

We will continue with this IP while we find a better hosting option.

MXT Tanegashima Complex Map Set

In the last Holidays week I managed to make and release a set of 4 maps. Based in a recurrent theme in some anime series:
The Final defense weapon for the planet. A giant robot. The Tanegashima Space center has been used in some anime series like «Robotics; Notes» and «Captain Earth».
In the MXT Tanegashima Complex Map Set is based in an underground Facility that contains a Gundam Sized robot. Each Map is located in a different level, from 0 (in the surface) to -3 (in the bottom).
Here are some screenshots. After an initial release with some bugs, a final release was published today.
