After the FEAR Combat Ultimate Fate Event, I released what in that moment was the only way to list and join FEAR Servers. Over the next months/years more functionality was added to It.
With every sucesive update, the FEAR Installer included SEC2 and fixed most of the bugs ingame, so the Launcher became obsolete.
At this moment, a tool to track servers and users is not required, because the game works as It used to be.
Still, for Server Admins and players, sometimes is needed a tool to view servers activity; Check If your team mates are already ingame, or just check If your server has some activity.
This is still in an early development stage, but I will try to get a closed beta in the next weeks. Stay Tunned!
The easier way to know If you are using the latest game version, is to check in the main FEAR Combat screen, you should get something like this:

So looks like the New FEAR Master Server will be complete soon. All of you must know this is thanks to [eAu]Phreeze, he made All of It. in some days we will be able to say we survived the GameSpy Apocalipsis and we are still here 🙂

After the huge changes in the FEAR Combat Scene, we have had to focus on other details that were not covered in the past, for example installation of the FEAR Launcher.
Version 1.3 will include some new changes like an (again) 100% working FEAR Server list, Improved management of CDKeys and for the first time, an auto-install-on-run feature that (I hope) will earn not so tech savvy users several mins of nightmare 😛
Meanwhile, MXT CTF Club, RAW and Nightfire servers keep a good amount of players, GameSpy can keep their services wherever they want/can.
FEAR Combat was shoot again, this time was a very critical shot, but as we can see, there’s still a lot of people interested on It 🙂
